More about SRDC and Schuylkill Banks
SRDC and Schuylkill Banks: SRDC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization working with the City of Philadelphia to revitalize the tidal Schuylkill River corridor from the Fairmount Dam to the Delaware River, branded as Schuylkill Banks.
The centerpiece of this effort is the construction, programming, and maintenance of a continuous eight-mile riverfront trail and greenway with associated access points and amenities along the Banks.
The first phase of trail construction, which is well underway, will connect the Fairmount Water Works and Bartram’s Garden, both National Historic Landmarks.
Subsequent phases of trail construction will extend Schuylkill Banks to Fort Mifflin, another National Historic Landmark, situated near the confluence of the Schuylkill and Delaware Rivers.
Visit www.schuylkillbanks.org for a map of the trail and information about trail projects and seasonal events.

More About Friends for Good Philadelphia

Established in Philadelphia in 2019, Friends for Good is a coalition of young professionals who are committed to engaging with their wider community through volunteering and fundraising to support a variety of nonprofits.
Friends for Good provides a way for young professionals to connect, gather, and socialize while benefiting charitable organizations that serve the Philadelphia community through fundraising, volunteering, and raising awareness. FFG hosts local volunteer opportunities and signature fundraising events throughout the year.
FFG sets itself apart as a nonprofit organization, in that it is not limited to one beneficiary; we support many local charitable efforts and nonprofits, allowing us to quickly respond to areas of the most pressing need. By bringing together Friends with diverse backgrounds, experience, and interests, FFG serves the dual purpose of contributing to the local community, and of creating a community for those who join.
